Finally a Rugged Short Stroke Kit without the high cost!  This Colt Style Short Stroked 1873 frame was developed and introduced by Taylor's Firearms to save the day for those looking for an affordable and dependable competion short stroke sidearm. 

The LH Deluxe Edition model also includes: custom tuning, custom hammer and base pin springs, trigger pull at 2 1/2 pounds, jig-cut, positive angles on all triggers and sears for crisp, reliable action, a coil-loaded hand spring, wire bolt and trigger springs. Comes in .357/38 with 4 3/4" and 5 1/2" barrels or 45 Colt with 3.5", 4.75" and 5.5" barrel.

  2. Replace all springs with Lee's "Gunslinger Spring Kit"
  3. Rework sear and hammer for crisp 2 1/2lb. trigger pull
  4. Open forcing cone to 11 degrees
  5. Square barrel face
  6. Check cylinder gap and head space
  7. Set timing and advance bolt drop
