1851 Brass Frame Civilian

(circa - 1860-1872)

The most common configuration produced, our brass grip framed reproduction is a 4th model New York Address.  An interesting note is that no revolver was ever made in New York.  But, the dubious Col. Samuel Colt wanted the big city name along with his London model to help boost sales and make for better appearences than the small industrial town of Harford Ct.
