I’ve been a bow hunter since 1972. This is the Texas state archery non-typical mule deer I took in 2007. It net scored 222 6/8′s Pope and Young. An outdoor writer told me it was the second highest scoring mule deer ever taken in Texas by any weapon. All of our deer in this part of Texas are free roaming. The nearest high fence operation is 200 miles south of us. We have mule deer and whitetail around the area. The little whitetail deer I’m petting is one that my neighbor bottle raised. He moved over to our place last winter and adopted us. He thinks he’s a cow.
Marshal….It was a pleasure working with you last week. Look forward to doing it again. BTW, I don’t like beans in my chili.

All right, all right… I get it. I knew Michael got it wrong about you being a deer whisperer and all….
LOL
